Hi Livejournal.

My last post was in November 2008. Its now 15 months later.
I finished uni and worked at a shitty job for 8 months. But I made a really good friend there. Now I have a 'real' job with a desk, where I sit Mon-Fri. In some ways it's kinda great. In some ways, I feel like I'm selling my soul and not doing anything that's worth anything.
I'm bored. I feel like that bus driver on the old cross-lotto ads on tv, who wants to "break freeeee" haha. Sucks you can't do all the stuff you want, but still have enough time/money to do all the things you need like work. It's like all those sayings people say like "we're here for a good time, not for a long time" et al, et al are starting to really make sense.
I went traveling again, back to the States, with friends. I want to travel again. I will go to Europe, and then the rest of the world.
I feel like I've become unsocial over the last year, and I don't like that. Habits are hard to change, but it can be done.
The state election was this weekend. I voted below the line, and I enjoyed putting "74" in Trevor dickhead Grace (anti-abortion) little box.
It's Easter soon. Me and the boyfriend are going to Melbourne. It will be fun times. We will drive, and go through Nihill, which makes me giggle.
I got my haircut yesterday - it feels GOOD :)

I think I will start posting in you again.

Woo, I won $16! Rich!
Ces't Du Guerre or whichever one came third.
I picked it too ($2 bet! hahaha!), not it a sweep.

Hells yeah.

I pick 2 horses each year, and usually one of them gets a worthwhile place.

Perhaps, I should do that for a living....gamble, I mean. Ha.

I have seriously been considering moving interstate, most likely to Melbourne, for a degree next year.
Balancing up the pros and cons, circumstances will be the best if I stay here though, for now. And, importantly I hope, my gut instinct tells me to stay also.

This may come up again next year depending on outcomes.

I finish uni in like I don't even know, three weeks or something and I have a buttload of work to do. Boo.

My nickel allergy seems to be getting worse, and I seem to be shrinking - I'll be in the 4 footage soon!

I have been eating so much junk of late, I think my cholesterol and blood pressure are getting high, really, and that's shit.

I'm sleeping pretty well, possibly due to early morning job half the week. It's good , three days mean hump day is Tuesday and Wednesday is TGIF. Cos I don't get paid for uni, the other days don't count.

To Bali next year with uber cheap flights? Am thinking on that one. Bali, I don't think, is my cup of tea, though. Maybe. I'd rather ride the elephants in India.

I'm not whinging, really - life's pretty cool :)

Apparently beach volleyball at the City courts starts 20th of Oct - don't know if we can get a spot now but we can try.
Teams are only 4 people big.
$36 per game.
I think it's any weeknight, but not sure what is available.

Thoughts?

Anyone interested in playing amateur volleyball this summer?
(Alicia, Bernie, I'm looking at you)
Maybe we could get a little team happening or something.

Long week, just passed. Had a uni intensive course Mon-Fri. It was very repetitive, but ok, and got to hang out with uni people - I actually have friends there now.
Friday Scott came home. Played cluedo (Mr Green in the library with the candlestick!!)
Saturday was parklife. Put on a good show, but got duped by the timeslot, and also i think the fact that it was really quite hot in the sun. Long day, various dramas. First time to see Peaches, after hearing good things, she was good, but i was feeling a bit yucky by that point. Home to bed by midnight.
Have had really bad hayfever and it's giving me sinusy headaches a lot.
Today dropped him at the airport and home procrastinating as per usual.
Rather tired indeed.
Busy week ahead - work at 6.30am, lots of homework and various appointments Mon-Wed.
Head up to Brisbane to see Boy on Thursday, which will be AWESOME.
Gonna catch up with some contiki peoples, and use the spa woowoo.
I wish to have a bbq/pool thing soon as the weather is getting warmer.
I think my parents are heading down the southeast for a family reunion soon, so maybe then.

I feel there was something else i meant to say, but i forget.
hmm..

That's right, i remember:
Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen (my favourite celebrity moles who i want to be) are teaming u with steve madden (favourite shoes) to make a line of shoes!
They will be crazy and awesome (hopefully)!

Haha that was all, you will never get that 10 seconds back.

I keep getting all these letters from the department of public health (my uni major), telling me I've achieved very good marks and should do honours or masters, participate in all these activities, or apply for scholarships over the summer etc.

I have bluffed my way through this whole couse (pretty well it would seem) but, now in my final semester and my internship (where I;m doing what is essentially a mini-thesis which an actual real-life organisation will be using to plan one of their actual real life programs) I have no idea what to do.

URGGHHHH.
